Why Potentia?
Performance should be managed, not guessed.
Elite sport does not leave physical preparation to chance. Performance is assessed, planned, coached and continually reviewed.
Potentia applies that same disciplined approach to real life — without expecting clients to live or train like professional athletes.
Strength
Build the physical capacity and robustness to perform confidently.
Resilience
Develop the recovery and physical capability to perform under sustained pressure.
Longevity
Protect the health and strength required to perform for decades.
WHY RICHIE BYRNE?
Professional sport. Academic expertise. More than 15 years of coaching.
Richie Byrne MSc, UKSCA is a performance coach whose career spans professional football, elite strength & conditioning, team leadership and private coaching.
His approach is not about asking executives or recreational clients to train like professional athletes. It is about applying the principles that make elite performers successful — objective assessment, intelligent preparation, disciplined execution and continual refinement — to the realities of individual life.

ELITE PRINCIPLES. INDIVIDUALLY APPLIED.
The principles behind high performance are universal. The way they are applied is not.
An elite footballer, a business leader and someone training for long-term health have different demands, schedules and goals. Effective coaching respects those differences.
Potentia takes the structure of elite performance — assessment, planning, coaching, recovery and review — and adapts it to the individual.
THE JOURNEY
Professional football gave Richie first-hand experience of the demands of high performance — preparation, pressure, competition, injury and recovery.
Following his playing career, his interest shifted from simply training hard to understanding why some bodies continue to perform while others break down. That led to formal study in Strength & Conditioning, UKSCA accreditation and a coaching career spanning private clients and professional football.
Today, that combination of lived experience, academic study and coaching practice forms the basis of Potentia Performance.
